About Dr. Abramson

Dr. David Abramson is a New York State licensed psychiatrist in private practice. He treats patients for a wide range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, anxiety and panic disorders, bipolar spectrum disorders, depression, and eating disorders.

Dr. Abramson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in English and Mathematics and received a medical degree with highest honors from Ross University, graduating as class valedictorian.

He completed a surgical internship and one year of neurosurgical training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and received his psychiatric training at Vanderbilt University and Chicago Med (RFUMS).

​Dr. Abramson has an interest in the performing arts and has performed stand-up comedy as well as acted professionally on stage and appeared in national TV commercials. He studies classical voice (opera), practices zen meditation, and is a contributing writer for an online home audio magazine.
